Introduction
Concealed lighting using decorative molding is a very popular interior design method. The decorative molding with hidden lighting is a profile that can accommodate an LED strip and an LED strip profile. Both single-color and color-changing RGB LED strips can be embedded into the molding in such a way that the dazzling light of the LEDs is not visible; only the soft light effect reflected from the wall is seen, known as indirect lighting. By discreetly placing the LED light strips, a unique atmospheric lighting can be achieved in any indoor space (kitchen, living room, bedroom, etc.), and it can be used for both general and decorative purposes. The final result and the appearance will "speak" for themselves.
The main types of concealed lighting decorative moldings are:
- Wall mouldings: for example. LED002, LED024. The front of the decorative moldings has a groove designed to hold the LED profile and strip. Due to their design, these moldings illuminate the ceiling, and their simplicity allows for a spectacular and atmospheric solution using the moldings and LED strips.
- Wall and cornice moulding: for example. LED036, LED042. They can optionally be glued into the corner (where the wall and ceiling meet), but can also be glued only to the ceiling, thus providing a solution for concealing the curtain rod without interrupting the concealed lighting.
Installation of Wall Concealed Lighting
When installing, glue the decorative molding at least 5 cm from the ceiling. However, for a larger illuminated surface area, the wall moldings can be glued 20-40 cm from the ceiling, achieving a continuous light effect with the installed lighting.
